Sandwich courses

During the professionalisation contract, the student alternates between training activities at the school (a course, LV2, experience analysis) and activities in the company. As part of this, you will be given engineering assignments within the company.

To support you throughout your work-study period, two tutors are identified from the start of the contract:

– a company tutor, responsible for helping you to integrate into the company and to find out about your tasks ;
– a school tutor responsible for ensuring that the content of the tasks assigned by the company tutor is in line with the skills required to validate the diploma, and for supporting you during your work-linked training.

This professional experience and the skills acquired are validated by the writing of a dissertation defended in September at the end of the fifth year.

The professionalisation contract enables students to enter the world of work even before they have obtained their engineering degree. However, the objectives of the course remain the same as those of the initial course, in order to validate, without distinction, the ITEEM engineering diploma.
