Internships
1.5 years of work experience
4 work placements give you the opportunity to put the knowledge you have acquired to the test in a business context. They give you the autonomy and operational skills you need to enter the business world.
The placement at the end of the first year is an observation/action placement. Its main aim is to help you discover and understand the inner workings of a company and acquire certain sales and commercial skills. This placement also enables you to become aware of the need to listen to customers, to support them and to play an advisory role.
The aim of this work placement is to carry out an assignment or project for a company, using the knowledge acquired in engineering sciences and the skills that the course is geared towards: undertaking, designing, implementing, innovating, leading, communicating, organising and training. Immersion in a professional environment enables you to learn to stand back from the task in hand and apply the most appropriate scientific approach.
This work placement comes at a key point in your training: after the first 3 years of shared teaching in engineering sciences and management, projects and business. By this time, you will have acquired a solid grounding in all these areas. The aim of this work placement is to expose you to the realities of the business world over a long period in a professional situation, and also to discover a new culture. Finally, this long period in a non-French-speaking country and in a company is an important experience to help you build your career plan.
This is the final stage of the course, where you will have to apply the knowledge you have acquired, whether general or specialist, and demonstrate your managerial skills. This work placement is also designed to help you find a job.
Trainee remuneration
Trainee pay is calculated according to the length of your placement and the legal hourly rate.
