A choice of 3 profiles

Helping you choose

In order to help students make their final choice as closely as possible to their career plans, students meet with coaching and soft skills professionals in one-to-one sessions to help you make your choice.

Students also take part in 3 challenges corresponding to the three profiles offered by ITEEM. The role-playing involved in these projects is also designed to help you make your choice at the end of the course: the innovator challenge, the manager challenge and the start-up challenge.

Manager, entrepreneur or transformation engineer?

  • A project manager is the essential pillar of projects that transform companies, and must take into account the human, technical and strategic dimensions of projects.

  • An innovative entrepreneur learns how to develop an innovative product or service, define a business plan, mobilise experts, identify appropriate funding, formalise the detailed financial package for the project, etc.

  • The aim of a transformation engineer is to learn how to deal with different types of transformation (organisational, digital, business models, processes, working methods, platforms, etc.) in increasingly complex environments.

Transformation engineer profile

The aim of the ‘Transformation Engineer’ profile is to learn how to understand the different types of transformation (organisational, digital, business models, processes, working methods, platformisation logics, etc.) in increasingly complex environments (climate, sovereignty, RGPD, cyber threats, etc.).Ce sont des ingénieurs engagés pour une transformation responsable !

They also acquire fundamental skills in user experience management, continuous improvement, process optimisation, agile methods, quality approaches and change management, while putting people at the heart of these transformations. Among the professions targeted by these student engineers are: transformation engineer, transformation agent, project manager, engineer specialising in industrial processes, data scientist, etc. The creation of this new profile is a response to the new complexity of the economic, environmental and organisational challenges facing industries, and to the skills needs expressed by companies. Student engineers will thus be able to support and then manage the transformation projects of major companies. They will need to make the most of their engineering and managerial know-how, as well as their interpersonal skills. In this way, they will be at the heart of these above all human adventures.

Project Manager Profile

In an ever-changing world, companies must constantly transform themselves, both by entering new markets and by reorganising to adapt to new technologies. Globalisation and technological advances are leading to the implementation of increasingly complex projects in fast-changing and highly competitive environments that influence projects; a multiple set of internal and external stakeholders with different and sometimes contradictory demands.

Do you want to be a decision-maker and an agent of change? Become a project manager and influence the changes of tomorrow!

The project manager is the essential pillar of projects transforming businesses, and must take into account the human, technical and strategic dimensions of projects.

As a result, you will need to be able to master project management methods, as well as the technological aspects, and to demonstrate leadership in order to quickly involve your team members and stakeholders, even from a different culture, across differences, and quickly lead them towards the desired project objectives, whether in a face-to-face or virtual team.

You will also be able to contract projects on the basis that the only way to solve problems is to create contracts that are fair and equitable in terms of the distribution of risks for all parties.

You will be accompanied by professionals in the field of business creation, and you will be able to interact with professionals in business development and the financing of business creation and innovation.

You will be encouraged to go out into the field and come face to face with the real world (customers, suppliers, partners); this will shape your project and develop it on the basis of concrete feedback, not theoretical ideas. The aim will be to work iteratively.
